1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you (“you,” “your,” “the user”) and Workplace Tutor (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing, accessing, or using any course or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not access or use our courses.
2. Course Access and Duration
Courses are delivered through our third‑party learning platform provider, Thinkific. Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access the course for three (3) months from the date of purchase.
Access automatically expires at the end of the access period.
You may not:
- share, transfer, or sell your access
- allow others to use your account
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent access controls
3. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
All payments are processed securely through Thinkific Payments.
By completing a purchase, you authorize Thinkific to charge your selected payment method.
We offer a 7‑day refund period beginning on the date of purchase provided you have not unlocked Module 4 of the course. Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within this timeframe.
Refunds will not be issued for:
- failure to access or complete the course
- change of mind after 7 days
- expired access periods
- technical issues arising from your device or internet connection
All refunds are issued at our sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All course content — including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, worksheets, assessments, and downloadable materials — is the exclusive property of Workplace Tutor and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You are prohibited from:
- copying, reproducing, distributing, or modifying any content
- sharing content publicly or privately
- using content for teaching, commercial training, or derivative works
Any unauthorized use constitutes infringement and may result in legal action.
5. Acceptable Use Requirements
You agree to use the courses and platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- share login credentials or permit unauthorized access
- attempt to bypass platform security or technical protections
- engage in scraping, downloading, or screen‑recording of course content
- use the course in a manner that violates workplace policies or applicable laws
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations without refund.
6. Third‑Party Platforms and Services
Courses are hosted and delivered through Thinkific, which provides account creation, hosting, progress tracking, and data storage.
By using our courses, you acknowledge and agree that Thinkific processes certain personal information on our behalf to deliver the service.
We are not responsible for:
- Thinkific’s platform availability
- outages, interruptions, or data loss
- third‑party system failures
Your use of Thinkific is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.
7. No Guarantee of Results
Our courses are designed for general workplace training and skill development.
We do not guarantee:
- job placement
- promotions
- performance outcomes
- specific results or improvements
Your outcomes depend on your own effort, application, and workplace environment.
8. Educational and Informational Purposes Only
Course content is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, regulatory, or professional advice.
You are solely responsible for evaluating how the information applies to your workplace or situation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Workplace Tutor, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
- indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages
- loss of revenue, profits, data, business, or opportunities
- reliance on course content
- inability to access the course
- platform outages or third‑party failures
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your purchase or use of a course shall not exceed the amount you paid for that course.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
All courses, materials, and services are provided on an “as is,” “as available,” and “with all faults” basis.
We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:
- implied warranties of merchantability
- fitness for a particular purpose
- non‑infringement
- uninterrupted or error‑free access
We do not warrant that the platform (operated by Thinkific) will be free from interruptions, delays, or technical issues.
11. User Responsibilities
By accessing or purchasing a course, you agree to:
- maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- use the content solely for personal learning
- ensure your device, browser, and internet connection meet technical requirements
- comply with workplace policies and applicable laws
- provide accurate and up‑to‑date account and payment information
- back up any personal notes or downloads you create, as access expires after 3 months
Your learning progress and results are your responsibility.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent version.
Continued use of the course after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
